The only grocery store remaining in Semans and which now houses small tools and hardware that were once a part of the Co-op garage.The store is now responsible for the fuel pumps at the old co-op garage location and the fuel keylock.

Semans Hotel and Cafe
Owned and operated by Janet Williams and Barry Dumphey. They cater to many functions within the community throughout the year and are well known within the hunting community both Canadian and American for their excellent cusinne and hospitality.

A locally owned business by Verna and Grant Greenshields. They are a Certified Seed Distributor and specialize in Crop Buying and Processing.
Semans Elevator Ltd.
Locally owned by a group of farmers that operate it as a Seed Cleaning Plant as well as Producer Car Loading and Custom Grain Rolling.

R.M. of Mount Hope #279
In 2004 the RM of Kutawa #249 amalgamated with the RM of Mount Hope #279.
Firefighting
The Village has a dedicated group of volunteer firefighters that consist of members from both the rural area around Semans and the Village of Semans. All members are trained in firefighting and are required to continually take upgrading in new and improved standards both for firefighting, and equipment maintenance.
Semans Royal Canadian Legion Branch #108
As the years have progressed the membership has become smaller, but is still very active and a viable part of the community. The Raymore Royal Canadian Legion combined with Semans due to declining members. They continue to sponsor the poster contests in the schools, November 11th Remembrance Day Service, scholarships, and veteran hospitals, which are only a few of their continued activities.
The Rec Centre
Owned by the Village and a committee operates the facility. Billiards and Bowling with an office in the front that is rented out for various out of town businesses for short term business operations. A room that once housed a barber and hairdresser is used as a small meeting room.
The Semans Branch of the Parkland Library
Now located in the School and is open three days a week.
